Two sides promoted from the Segunda Division last season clash here as Granada played host to Mallorca. So far Granada that have adapted more quickly to life at this level but it always can be difficult to Balearic Islands following back-to-back promotions. They really struggled to pick up results on the road, but they still remain outside the relegation zone heading into the new year.
In the case of tabular though, both sides lingering in the bottom three with a return of Granada of 4 points from their last eight games, one shy return of Mallorca. As for Mallorca, they have to approach this game without top scorer Ante Budimir were suspended, and the same goes for Iddrisu Baba.
