United vs Arsenal Betting Tips

Sheffield United, fresh from behind the promotion of shock and with a very small budget to work with, which is expected to be the whipping boys this season's Premier League. Manager Chris Wilder insisted that he stick to his fluid brand of football that brought them to this position, and this is expected to result in many seasons spent struggling under the table.

There is still a long way to go, of course, but it's fair to say that the early signs are very promising for relegation favorites. They sit 13th in the table, level on points with Manchester United and after really held its own in the top flight.

In fact, The Blades have not lost the match by more than one goal, including the unfortunate 1-0 loss against Liverpool and enthralling 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge. It is obvious that the Wilder and the company is not just here to make up the numbers.

One potential concern is the form of their Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. They beat Crystal Palace in their first outing there, but they have since lost three matches on the bounce and only scored two goals there all season. Arsenal defensive record away from home was poor, but even they have to be sure clean sheet on Monday.

The Gunners sit an impressive third in the Premier League, just a point adrift of Manchester City. A sustained title challenge already looking beyond them this term, but Unai Emery has a team moving in the right direction.

That being said, they have their problems when on the road. Arsenal have won just one of their four away games in the league this season, and the threat of attack is usually cruel to be a bit more toothless away from the Emirates. They scored only five of their 13 league goals away from home, so they could have a tough time against Sheffield United defense which proved highly resilient against Liverpool last month.

It may seem surprising in the Arsenal match away, but we really expect a low scoring match on Monday. Two of their four away games have seen less than three goals, and Sheffield United have seen three of their four home matches ended with two or less goals. In fact, the host home games have averaged only 1.5 goals per game so far, so backing under 2.5 Goals looks really good value.

Given Sheffield United have lost each of their last two home games 1-0 and have not lost by more than one goal, we thought a repeat of Arsenal's 1-0 win against Bournemouth and Newcastle is on the card, so that's what we're support for the prediction score correct us.
