Los Angeles FC's winless league has now reached a season-high four games in three draws and a loss after a 1-1 draw at Philadelphia last weekend. Vela scored his league-leading 28th goal of the season in the 43rd minute after Philadelphia took the lead in the third minute. They also lead the league and have one of the top home record with just one loss with 11 wins and two draws while outscoring their visitors 41-17.
Toronto FC extended their unbeaten league streak to three wins and four draws as they edged visiting Colorado 3-2 last weekend and now have taken ten points in their last 12 league outings. Tsubasa Endoh and Alejandro Pozuelo give TFC a 2-0 lead after 13 minutes, but Colorado had pulled level with 62 in Toronto goalkeeper Quentin Westberg also saves a penalty kick in the first half. Substitute Jonathan Osorio saved the day even though the winner in the 70th minute. It was a great three points in a playoff race as Toronto now sits tied for fourth place in the East and has a eight-point lead over the eighth and ninth-place Chicago and Montreal with only three regular season games to play.
Toronto may be unbeaten in seven games but with LAFC took 35 of the 42 points the home and with Carlos Vela back I expect them to win.
