Valencia
Despite changes in manager, Valencia seem to keep their team relatively the same if their Barcelona XI is something to go through. That means Kevin Gameiro is likely to appear in front with Rodrigo, with four midfielders.
Prediction XI: Cillessen; Wass, Garay, Gabriel, Gaya; Torres, Coquelin, Parejo, Guedes; Gameiro, Rodrigo.
Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Valencia
The two teams were at very different stages in their respective seasons with Chelsea scoring five while Valencia conceded a lot in the previous match.
Young players Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have set fire to the Premier League with some stunning performances and American winger Christian Pulisic can impress on the European stage if given the chance.
Scoring goals has not been a problem for Lampard's men, but the fact that they conceded 13 in only six matches under Lampard.
That could give Valencia hope of achieving at least one goal at Stamford Bridge, although the Blues are expected to pass their first European test with a narrow victory.
