TEAM NEWS
VENEZUELA
Venezuela will hope to qualify for their first World Cup in 2022 and the first step to prepare for their qualifying campaign will begin with the Copa America in Brazil this summer.
Venezuela are the only South American team that has never appeared at the World Cup but will like their chances with their current team showing some recent major improvements with the spotlight of a 3-1 victory over Argentina in March.
With a team full of attractive youngsters and more experienced players, who were spearheaded by Salomon Rondon behind a remarkable season in the Premier League and with great balance on their side, they can go far in this tournament.
PERU
Peru will hope to build a promising World Cup campaign where they push French winners along the way but head coach Ricardo Gareca will hope more talent will be added to his team for this competition.
The squad named for this tournament is very similar to that which appeared in Russia in 2018 and while consistency in the squad is positive, there is a lack of further talent about while they have struggled to form since the World Cup with only three wins from ten matches.
With 82 caps in his name, Yoshimar Yotun will be key for his team in the center of the midfield in a 4-2-3-1 system that tends to be adopted by Peru but that formation may have to change if they fail to get off to a good start.

Tips for Venezuela vs. Peru Betting
We support outsiders in this match and that because Venezuela has performed some decent performances in their warm-up match. On the other hand, Peru does not have good records from their own country and that can cause problems in Brazil. They have only won one of their last eight matches outside their own country and that is a 2-0 victory over Australia at the World Cup. In addition, they failed to score in World Cup matches against France and Denmark. Since the World Cup, Los Incas have lost 2-1 against Germany and the Netherlands, and drew 1-1 against the United States.
Venezuela played with the US in their last Copa America warm-up match and won 3-1. It was an impressive performance against a strong US team. From their other forms outside Venezuela, the 3-1 win against Argentina attracted attention and they only lost once in their last 11 away matches.
Given that we are betting on the first Copa America shock that occurs only in the second match, we can also bet on the correct score predictions in this match. Peru have scored against Germany and the Netherlands in a recent friendly match and they managed to win 1-0 at home to Costa Rica, so it would not be surprising to see their score in this match, but Venezuela's 2-1 win was a tip of our score the correct one for this is on opportunity 12/1 which looks generous.
Forecast
Venezuela warmed up for this match with a 3-0 win over the United States. The result ended a three-match winless run and will increase their confidence ahead of this match before the match frightens them with host nation Brazil.
Peru breathes fresh air at the 2018 World Cup because of their enormous travel support but they have to start paying their fans with results on the field. They have only won four of their last 14 matches, although two of those wins have come in their last four matches.
Expect a tight meeting between Venezuela and Peru. The last two meetings between the teams ended 2-2 and the previous four matches were only determined by one goal difference.
Forecast:
Venezuela 2 : 1 Peru
