Lazio vs Hellas Verona: Predictions
This match takes place after Lazio won 5-1 in Rome against SPAL. This is a hard-fought victory for the Biancocelesti and one of their strong performances so far this season. Simone Inzaghi's side are in superb form; they are unbeaten in their last sixteen games. Ciro Immobile continues to lead the way in front, scored his league-leading 24th and 25th goal of the season. Italy continues to impress for Lazio, as he scored eight goals in four of their last five games. The striker has also donated three winners of the match in the last five Serie A games.
Hellas Verona in the last match against Milan, Davide Faraoni opened the scoring for the Gialloblu in the first round. Despite leading in the match, Milan followed up with a goal from Hakan Çalhanoğlu; although the Rossoneri into a man for nearly a quarter of the match, they failed to take advantage, and both sides settled for a 1-1 draw. The Giallorossi started the season they won one of their first seven games. However, due to a poor start to the season, the club has turned it as they sit in ninth place behind Milan and Parma. Although Verona unbeaten in their last five games, their last victory against Lazio dates back to December 2011, when they won 4-1.
Prediction: Lazio 2-0 Hellas Verona
